Rainhouse holds an engineering showcase competition which creates an opportunity for local students to exhibit their engineering projects as well as increase awareness of opportunities available in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) fields by creating networking opportunities for students, industry, and the general public.

Despite facing challenges due to restrictions, we were thrilled to provide engineering students with the opportunity to showcase their ingenuity. A panel of esteemed judges selected four standout teams to receive cash prizes, recognizing their exceptional projects and contributions to the field of engineering.
Building upon the success of the previous year, our 2019 event exceeded expectations. It was heartening to witness the growing interest and participation in science and technology among our local students. The showcase served as a platform to celebrate their enthusiasm and dedication to innovation.
Our second annual engineering showcase was a success. We were honoured to welcome esteemed industry leaders such as Emilie De Rosenroll – CEO of South Island Prosperity Project, Jack Litzenberger – CEO of JOL Consultants Inc., and Mike Whalley – President of Babcock Canada.
