Chris Lichty and Kory Pollner Become Rainhouse Shareholders
Throughout this long and exciting journey, Ray found two allies who share his vision and demonstrate their passion for what they do every day. Seeing their full potential and love for what they do, in 2019, Ray decided to offer the opportunity to Kory Pollner and Chris Lichty to buy into the company.

Rainhouse’s engineering showcase creates an opportunity for local students to exhibit their latest projects as well as increases awareness of opportunities available in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields by creating networking opportunities for students, industry, and the general public.

Chris is passionate about learning how things work and all things manufacturing. He is an experienced machinist with 15+ years’ experience who can make almost any imaginable part a reality.

PED Expanded its Office Space to 528 William Street
Rainhouse adds 6 CNC machining centres. The company’s success was showing as they had numerous projects, new partnerships, and some growing pains.

Teresa Wong was Hired
Teresa is a leader at Rainhouse with responsibilities including the oversight of our supply chain coordination, electronic manufacturing services, and office management.
2004
Kory Pollner was Hired
A west coast native, born on Vancouver Island, Kory has 25+ years’ experience in machining and manufacturing. Kory can basically do it all; he is a great machinist, critical thinker, and creative problem solver.

PED Moved its Headquarters to 532 William Street
PED was doing well adding 2 CNC machines to its capabilities. Ray began specializing in private company projects in the marine and defence industries as well as continuing to build strong interpersonal connections with his clients.

Prototype Equipment Design (PED) was Founded by Ray Brougham
Our company’s history started as PED in Ray’s basement. Armed with a manual lathe and his first FP4NC machine, the company specialized in private company projects and building strong interpersonal connections with its clients.
